Job Purpose

The Snack Bar Cook is responsible for preparing simple food and beverage items for golfers and guests in a fast‑paced snack bar environment. This position focuses on providing friendly service while preparing menu items such as sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, breakfast items, and grab‑and‑go offerings according to established standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, follows food safety guidelines, and takes pride in delivering quality food quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve simple food items according to established recipes and portion standards.
• Cook menu items using grills, ovens, fryers, microwaves, or other snack bar equipment.
• Assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other grab‑and‑go offerings.
• Stock food, beverage, and supply inventory throughout the shift.
• Ensure food is properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized food preparation area.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Restock condiments, utensils, beverages, and snack items as needed.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to guests.
• Follow all company, local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous food service, snack bar, quick‑service restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
• Basic math and cash handling skills preferred.

Working Conditions

• Days and hours of work vary based on business needs and operating schedules.
