Job summary

Jabil, a global manufacturing partner, is seeking an SMT Training Specialist in Richardson, TX. You will onboard, upskill, and certify production operators on SMT lines, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will collaborate with operations leadership and engineering to build capabilities and manage training programs in Workday. High School diploma required; 2+ years in SMT manufacturing or technical training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing, SMT production or related training
• Experience delivering classroom or instructor-led training
• Knowledge of SMT equipment setup and PCB inspection standards
• Proficiency with LMS, especially Workday for training and tracking
• Strong presentation, coaching and communication skills on a factory floor

Responsibilities

• Train new hires and operators on SMT processes, standard work, and line operations
• Provide hands-on instruction for FNI, AOI, ICT tasks on production lines
• Manage training records and certification compliance
• Coordinate training using Workday and update SOPs
