Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII is seeking an SMT Process Technician to support surface mount technology manufacturing. You will set up, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on SMT equipment, collaborating with Production, Quality, and Engineering to maximize uptime and product quality.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong documentation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics/Mechatronics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and support SMT production equipment.
• Perform product changeovers, line setups, and machine verifications.
• Troubleshoot SMT equipment and process-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on SMT equipment.
• Assist with defect reduction and yield improvement activities.
• Monitor SMT processes and ensure procedure compliance.
• Maintain maintenance logs and equipment records.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Follow safety, ESD and quality requirements.
