Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Houston is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize SMT and automation equipment used in electronics manufacturing. You will contribute to high‑volume production and ensure quality standards are met.

Collaborating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams, you will drive improvements in yield, throughput, and process reliability while supporting NPI and line transfers in a fast paced EMS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing / PCB assembly / SMT environment.
• Strong understanding of SMT process flow and PCB assembly operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and optimize SMT / Automation production equipment for efficient and high‑quality output.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and minimize downtime through fast root‑cause resolution.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), line transfers, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain machine parameters, setup documentation, and process standards.
