Job summary

PICA Product Development in New Hampshire seeks a hands-on Process Engineer to optimize SMT and electronic assembly operations, programming PnP machines, stencil/jet printers, and AOI programs in a high-mix environment.

The role collaborates with Production, Quality and Leadership to drive continuous improvement, improve yield, reduce cycle times, ensure IPC standards, and support NPI builds with thorough work instructions and process validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing (SMT environment preferred).
• Hands-on experience programming: PnP machines, AOI systems, Stencil and/or Jet printers.
• Experience creating and validating reflow oven profiles.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in SMT processes.

Responsibilities

• Program and optimize SMT equipment including PnP machines, stencil printers, and jet printers.
• Develop and validate reflow oven profiles for leaded and lead-free assemblies; verify ramps and peak temps.
