North Atlantic Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced SMT Process Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and transition of new PCBAs into manufacturing within a high-mix, low-volume electronics environment.

This role interfaces with Design Engineering and Production to ensure scalable, high-reliability SMT processes for defense, aerospace, and industrial applications. The successful candidate will drive DFM/DFT reviews, define tooling requirements, and partner with Quality to

• Experience with SMT manufacturing processes and high-mlow volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities for SMT-based assemblies from prototype to full-rate production.
• Collaborate between Design Engineering and Production to ensure manufacturability and testability.
• Develop and document robust SMT processes including paste printing, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI/X-ray.
