Job summary

Voktio in Fort Worth, Texas seeks an SMT Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain SMT manufacturing processes, improving quality, efficiency and production performance while supporting NPI.

Responsibilities include creating SMT process standards, supporting stencil design and solder paste selection, equipment programming, troubleshooting defects with root-cause analysis, and collaborating with Production, Quality and Design Engineering to improve yield and reduce scrap.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in SMT manufacturing or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with SMT and electronics manufacturing.
• NPI experience.
• Reflow experience.
• AOI/AXI experience.
• Process optimization.
• RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
• DOE (Design of Experiments).
• SPC (Statistical Process Control).
• Lean/Six Sigma.
• FMEA.
• IPC standards.
