Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process to design, develop, and deploy advanced manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers’ products.

The role involves leading capability assessments, applying Design of Experiments and statistical methods, and driving manufacturability feedback to design teams across multiple stages of the manufacturing workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 1 to 3 years of related experience
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes to support customer products.
• Develop application software and tooling for machines and mechanical process steps in manufacturing.
• Lead assessment of machine/process capability using Design of Experiments and statistical methods.
• Lead disciplined process for solving complex problems affecting efficient operation and manufacture of products.
• Provide feedback to product designers on manufacturability of designs.
