Job summary

Celestica in Plano, TX seeks a Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process to design, develop, deploy and optimize manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost and delivery goals for Celestica and customer products.

You will create new processes, build tooling for complex machines, apply DOE and statistical methods to maximize throughput and minimize cost, and guide design-for-manufacturability feedback to product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes for customer products.
• Develop software and tooling for complex machines and manufacturing steps.
• Lead DOE studies and statistical assessments to maximize throughput and minimize cost.
• Guide design-for-manufacturability assessments for new products.
• Solve complex process and product problems across the full manufacturing flow.
