Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group is seeking a Process Engineer (SMT) to develop, optimize, and maintain SMT production processes across the assembly line. You will focus on solving process challenges, improving line efficiency, and ensuring high product quality.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in a technical field and 3–5+ years in SMT manufacturing, with hands-on knowledge of solder paste printing, pick-and-place, reflow, and AOI/AXI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 3–5+ years in an active SMT manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of solder paste printing, pick-and-place, reflow, and AOI/AXI.
• Data-driven problem solving and experience with DFM/DFA.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new SMT production processes.
• Optimize existing processes to maximize efficiency and yield.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SMT production issues.
• Conduct process capability studies and SPC.
• Collaborate with R&D, maintenance, and QA teams.
• Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Provide training and day-to-day support to operators.
• Stay current with SMT tech and equipment advancements.
