Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain SMT production processes on the US-based assembly line. You will drive line efficiency, ensure high product quality, and partner with R&D, Equipment Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to support New Product Introductions.

The role requires hands-on SMT experience with solder paste printing, pick-and-place, reflow, and AOI/AXI inspection, plus a data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of SMT process engineering experience.
• Experience with solder paste printing, pick-and-place, reflow, and AOI/AXI inspection.
• Strong data-driven problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new SMT production processes to meet design specs and quality requirements.
• Continuously analyze and optimize SMT processes to maximize efficiency and yield.
• Troubleshoot process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform process capability studies (Cpk) and apply SPC across assembly operations.
• Collaborate with R&D, Maintenance, and QA for NPI and process stability.
• Create, update, and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions).
• Provide training and day-to-day support to SMT operators and technicians.
