M A K S Incorporated is seeking an Electronics Process Engineer to join our team. You will develop, implement, and optimize SMT processes for PCB assembly, supporting new-product introductions, equipment programming, and process documentation.

You will work with production and quality teams to improve yield, efficiency, and uptime, while ensuring IPC standards and customer requirements are met. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Control and improve the manufacturing process for circuit board assembly.

• Keep detailed records of all findings, changes, and modifications.
• Train operators, maintain process documentation.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Process Engineer to join our team! As an SMT Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving surface-mount technology processes used in printed circuit board assembly. This role supports new-product introduction, SMT equipment programming, solder-paste printing, component placement, reflow profiling, and inspection processes. The engineer troubleshoots manufacturing defects, performs root-cause analysis, develops corrective actions, and works closely with production and quality teams to improve product quality, first-pass yield, efficiency, and equipment uptime. The position also creates process documentation, trains production personnel, and ensures compliance with applicable IPC standards and customer requirements.
