Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Houston seeks an experienced SMT Manufacturing Engineer to keep Surface Mount Technology lines running smoothly, reliably, and efficiently with hands-on expertise.

You will maintain SMT equipment, drive yield improvements, perform root cause analysis, and support line setup, parameter development, validation, and qualification, collaborating closely with Quality and Testing teams to resolve manufacturing issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent training in SMT manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience supporting SMT production.
• Understanding & experience of SMT processes and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Screen printers.
• Pick-and-place machine.
• Automatic Optical Inspection systems.
• Reflow oven.
• Experience with: Root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support line balancing and throughput optimization to improve efficiency
• Work closely with Quality and Testing teams to resolve manufacturing issues

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent training in SMT manufacturing environment
• Hands‑on experience supporting SMT production
• Understanding & experience of SMT processes and equipment maintenance and repair
• Screen printers
• Pick‑and‑place machine
• Automatic Optical Inspection systems
• Reflow oven
• Experience with:

• Process validation and qualification skill
• Yield and defect reduction strategies
