Job summary

FlashTalk Technology in Ohio seeks an SMT Equipment Operator to program, set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment such as pick-and-place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens. You will load reels, verify feeds, and ensure accurate placement and minimal downtime.

You will inspect boards for quality, perform routine maintenance, and document production status for team leads while contributing to process improvement projects with talented colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience operating SMT equipment in electronics manufacturing.
• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification, or working knowledge of these standards.
• The desire to work someplace special, with talented and motivated colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment including pick-and-place machine, screen printer, and reflow oven.
• Load and verify component reels, feeders, and programs to ensure accurate placement and reduce downtime.
• Inspect boards for quality throughout production, identifying and correcting defects before downstream movement.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate status to team leads.
• Engage in special projects related to manufacturing process improvement.

Education

IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification or working knowledge of these standards
