Job summary

Patton, LLC is seeking a Surface Mount Technology Operator to setup and operate SMT equipment including stencil printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens. The role requires reading and following work orders, inspecting assemblies to IPC-A-610, and performing preventive maintenance.

Day and evening shifts are available. Responsibilities include loading feeders, documenting labor steps, and adhering to in-house procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language.
• Min. 2 yrs experience operating surface mount equipment.

Responsibilities

• Acquire materials from inventory and verify quantities against Work Order Documentation.
• Load part feeders and set up SMT equipment according to Set Up Documentation.
• Operate SMT equipment safely per Manufacturer’s Operating Manual and in-house SMT guidelines/procedures.
• Inspect SM Assemblies to IPC-A-610 and/or in-house workmanship standards.
• Document all labor information and complete routings steps electronically.
• Perform weekly Preventive Maintenance on SMT equipment.
• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and ISO documentation.
