Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an SMT Operator in the Plano area to set up, operate, and maintain SMT equipment for high-reliability assemblies. You will work on the production line to ensure IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Class 3 standards are met.

The role offers 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. Training will be provided to help you grow your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related manufacturing/SMT experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions.
• Microscope soldering and SMT programming experience is a plus.
• Must be able to pass required IPC/J-STD certifications and vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate SMT machines and equipment.
• Load components, verify placement, polarity, and specifications.
• Inspect products and identify defects or quality issues.
• Perform microscope soldering, touch-ups, rework, and X-ray inspection.
