Job summary

Intervala, LLC in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking a 2nd shift SMT Operator to support defense customers. You will load, set up, and stage boards on SMT lines, assist with machine setup, and help build and place components with precision.

This role emphasizes accuracy, reading blueprints, following load plans, and maintaining high-quality output in a fast-paced environment. A HS diploma or GED is required; training is provided and benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print.
• Beginner level in MS Office applications (Word and Excel).
• Read and understand load plans.
• Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results.
• Work in a high volume, high detail environment.
• Read, comprehend and follow instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Handle tedious and small parts with care.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and tear down on all feeders for all pick and place machines.
• Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines.
• Assist in building electronic assemblies as needed.
• Perform manual placement of surface mount and through-hole electronic components.
