Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Equipment Engineering in Fort Worth, TX to lead teams responsible for SMT equipment development, sourcing, and maintenance to support manufacturing operations goals.

The role includes owning maintenance strategy (PM/calibration/predictive maintenance), acting as SME for SMT equipment, and driving equipment projects with vendors and internal stakeholders to improve throughput, yield, and OEE.

Qualifications

• Manages and develops SMT equipment and automated assembly lines across product life cycle.
• Lead engineering staff for equipment qualification, upgrade, and maintenance programs.
• Partner with Process and Quality teams to meet equipment specifications and capacity goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop the scope of all technical work, coordinate the team, direct work assignments, and assist with problem resolution for the full customer product life cycle.
• Oversee equipment maintenance strategy including PM, calibration, predictive maintenance, and emergency repair protocols to maximize OEE.
