Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Electronics Technician to support SMT production equipment in a fast‑paced electronics manufacturing environment. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain SMT lines while ensuring quality and continuous improvement of PCBAs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, manufacturing technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience operating SMT equipment and automated assembly machinery; Juki SMT experience a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and manufacturing docs.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing software systems.
• PC‑A‑610 and/or J‑STD‑001 certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor SMT production equipment (paste printers, pick‑and‑place, reflow ovens, inspection systems).
• Perform machine changeovers, program verification, and first‑article inspections.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on SMT equipment.
• Verify material availability and proper component loading and feeder setup.
• Inspect PCB assemblies for quality and conformance to specs.
• Monitor production yields and identify process improvements.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and maintenance records.
• Follow IPC standards, work instructions, safety procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and production to resolve issues.
• Assist with new product introductions and process validation.
