Job summary

Intervala, LLC in Mount Pleasant, PA, is seeking a Small Parts Assembler to build through-hole and SMT PCB assemblies, placing components on boards according to controlled parts lists, drawings, and quality guidelines.

You will prep components with hand tools, perform manual placement, assemble chassis and electromechanical devices, and suggest improvements to documentation to ensure high-quality results; shift is 7am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small print.
• Ability to perform component prep using hand tools and tooling.
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results.
• Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions (including small print).
• Ability to manipulate and work with tedious and small parts.

Responsibilities

• Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) PCB assemblies, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawings and guidelines.
• Cut and form (prep) components.
• Perform manual placement of THT components.
• Assemble chassis components using a variety of hardware.
• Assemble electromechanical devices using a variety of hardware.
• Recommend changes in documentation to ensure high quality results.
