Job summary

Frontier Airlines seeks an Airline Safety Management System (SMS) Specialist to oversee the Frontier SMS, coordinate across departments, and support regulatory interfacing for approval and compliance. The role includes auditing, training, and maintaining SMS documentation with emphasis on safety and process improvement.

Ideal candidates have a aviation safety background, FARs knowledge, and 3–5 years at a Part 121 carrier, with strong writing and presentation skills and comfort working with FAA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aviation safety, aviation management or related field.
• 3 to 5 years’ work experience at a Part 121 air carrier.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SMS processes across Frontier departments.
• Audit SMS compliance and report findings to the SMS Manager.
• Develop documentation and maintain SMS policies and procedures.
• Plan and conduct SMS training for assigned teams.
• Assist in SRAs and maintain the SMS database.
• Interface with FAA to obtain SMS approvals and actions.
• Prepare SMS status updates for Frontier leadership.
