Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an SMS Focal to coordinate with site leaders in developing, implementing, and maintaining a Safety Management System for the Asheville site. You will promote a proactive safety culture and lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate product safety risks.

This role supports regulatory compliance, drives continuous improvement in product safety performance, and collaborates with other GE sites to share lessons learned while ensuring alignment with enterprise SMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance, safety quality or quality experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Experience with problem-solving root cause analysis tools and audits.
