Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer-Strategic Mission Planning & Execution System SME to lead technical coordination and deployment for SMPES within national defense programs at Offutt AFB, NE. Qualifications

• US citizen
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility and NC2
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Systems Engineering, CS, AE/EE)
• 8+ years of advanced systems engineering experience including SMPES SME responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Technical coordination, architectural design, interface integration, and deployment across SMPES network
• Lead OT integration with cloud and application layers
• Assess emerging technologies for scalability and security readiness
• Advance digital engineering practices with MBSE and automated workflows
• Serve as USSTRATCOM/J5 Operations SME and translate planning needs into engineering tasks
• Author technical baselines and milestones with government officials
