Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer-Strategic Mission Planning & Execution System SME to serve as the chief technical advisor and architect for SMPES. You will lead cross-domain design, integration, and deployment across enterprise hardware and software nodes, coordinating with USSTRATCOM and J5 Plans to align strategic planning with execution.

This on-site role supports Offutt AFB, NE.

Qualifications

• US citizenship
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM
• 8+ years of advanced systems engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end engineering design and deployment for SMPES network
• Lead OT integration with cloud and application layers
• Assess and modernize using digital engineering, AI/ML analytics, and DevSecOps
• Drive MBSE and automated workflows to replace legacy docs
• Interface with USSTRATCOM/J5 to translate planning requirements into tasks
• Lead milestone reviews with government program officials
