Job summary

Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA) Education and Outreach Office seeks a Program Specialist 4 to oversee the Senior Medicare Patrol statewide. The role directs the four Regional Program Specialists, ensures compliance with federal/state regulations, and leads outreach and technical assistance to beneficiaries and partners.

The position is contracted full-time, located in Harrisburg, with work-from-home options and travel as needed, through May 31, 2028.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, social work, public health, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience developing and implementing human services program projects.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in human services education, outreach, research, or training.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the four Regional Program Specialists.
• Oversee evaluation of regulations and policies to align with department objectives.
• Develop and monitor SMP policies, procedures, and standards.
• Plan and manage the SMP federal grant implementation and reporting.
• Provide technical assistance for outreach and complex SMP casework.
