Job summary

Clemens Food Group in Tyrone, PA, is seeking a Smokehouse Operator for the 8PM–4AM shift to join our on-site team. The role involves monitoring cooking and chilling processes, loading and unloading smokehouses, and maintaining production records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided, and candidates from manufacturing, warehouse, or meat processing backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed specifications.
• Basic documentation and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work in a production environment with temperature variations.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull product and equipment as required.
• Team-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• No experience required, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor smokehouse operations to ensure products are cooked according to company specifications.
• Oversee the chilling process to ensure products are cooled in compliance with company requirements.
• Load and unload smokehouses and brine chillers safely and efficiently.
• Accurately complete and maintain weight sheets, charts, and production documentation.
• Assist with hourly inspections of smokehouse rooms to identify and report SSOP deficiencies.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
