Job summary

Clemens Food Group in Tyrone, PA is seeking a dependable Smokehouse Operator to monitor cooking and chilling processes, ensure product quality and safety, and maintain accurate production records. This role supports the Smokehouse Department and requires attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced, temperature-variant manufacturing setting.

No prior experience is required; training will be provided. Hours are 12PM-8PM, Mon-Fri with Saturdays as needed, with duties including loading

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull product and equipment.
• Ability to work in a production environment with temperature variations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor smokehouse operations to ensure products are cooked according to company specifications.
• Oversee the chilling process to ensure products are cooled in compliance with company requirements.
• Load and unload smokehouses and brine chillers safely and efficiently.
• Accurately complete and maintain weight sheets, charts, and production documentation.
• Assist with hourly inspections of smokehouse rooms to identify and report SSOP deficiencies.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
