Job summary

Manhattan Strategy Group seeks an experienced Smartsheet Solutions Consultant to design, develop, and support Smartsheet-based solutions for a large, multi-team project. The consultant will advise on governance, documentation, and long-term adoption, working remotely across the United States.

The engagement is a contractual consultant role focused on discovery, design, buildout, implementation, and knowledge transfer, with ongoing updates and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Designing and developing complex Smartsheet solutions, including sheets, reports, forms, dashboards, and workflows.
• Administer Smartsheet users, permissions, workspaces, sharing, and solution ownership.
• Experience with workflow automations and system integrations using Power Automate.
• Proficiency with Python for automation, data manipulation, system integration or reporting.
• Experience with APIs and integrating data between systems.
• Strong understanding of relational data concepts, data quality, validation, and structured reporting.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex workflows and identify root causes.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and enhance Smartsheet sheets, reports, forms, dashboards, and automated workflows.
• Evaluate existing Smartsheet solutions across multiple project teams to streamline, standardize, or connect processes.
• Develop cross-sheet solutions to reduce duplicate data entry and provide reliable project information.
• Create executive and operational dashboards for visibility into activities, status, workload, risks and metrics.
• Develop scalable Smartsheet solutions for changing requirements and new workstreams.
• Establish design standards, naming conventions, and development methodologies for Smartsheet.
• Design and maintain integrations between Smartsheet and other systems using Power Automate, Python, etc.
• Develop automated workflows to reduce manual data entry and errors.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and refine automated processes and integrations.
