Job summary

Better Car People is seeking a Performance Coach – TMNA SmartPath to work directly with Toyota dealerships across the Los Angeles Region. This role is hands-on, relationship-driven, and focused on helping dealership teams get the most out of Toyota SmartPath.

You’ll spend time in dealerships coaching teams, identifying opportunities, reviewing performance, and turning SmartPath tools into everyday habits that drive results.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching dealership teams to improve performance.
• Knowledge of sales processes and customer journey in automotive.
• Ability to translate data into actionable steps.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Toyota dealerships across the Los Angeles Region to coach and support.
• Build relationships with dealership leadership and frontline teams.
• Assess current SmartPath usage and identify opportunities to improve adoption.
• Review performance metrics and identify trends, gaps, and actions.
• Create and implement customized action plans for each dealership.
• Provide refresher training and ongoing support to ensure consistency.
