Job summary

Master Meter, Inc. in the Carolinas region seeks a Field Technician to install, troubleshoot, and support AMR/AMI meters and related systems. You will work with sales and distributor partners to deliver world-class service.

This role requires travel (roughly 80%), strong technical aptitude, and solid communication skills. You will document activity, support utility partners, and help train customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to install, repair, and maintain meters and AMR/AMI systems.
• Up to 80% overnight travel required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for AMR/AMI systems on-site.
• Oversee AMR/AMI equipment installations as needed.
• Diagnose issues with communication and electrical systems.
• Maintain documentation and reporting.
• Respond to questions and provide updates to management.
