Job summary

Arc Human Services is seeking a SHIFT Certified Enabling Technology Integration Specialist (ETIS) to support Smart Living and enabling technology initiatives. The ETIS collaborates with individuals, families, DSPs, ATPs, and teams to translate goals into practical tech solutions that increase independence and safety.

The role includes assessing needs, coordinating implementation, configuring devices, training staff and individuals, troubleshooting, and following up to ensure success in daily

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to train staff and educate others on technology.
• Must be able to travel throughout the service area.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals from request to follow-up.
• Meet individuals, families, and teams to identify goals.
• Assess needs and develop practical technology plans.
• Configure, install, test, and troubleshoot devices.
• Provide hands-on training to individuals and staff.
• Follow-up to ensure technology works in daily life.
• Support remote access and demonstrations.
• Maintain documentation of referrals, assessments, and outcomes.
• Track technology usage and program measures.
• Stay current on emerging enabling tech.
