Job summary

ADT is looking for a self-motivated Sales Advisor to visit customers’ homes and demonstrate the value of security and smart home solutions. You will tailor each system to fit space and lifestyle while explaining products in depth and ensuring excellent service.

You will travel within a designated territory, build trust with clients, and pursue new leads to grow the business. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; additional licensing may be needed by location.
• Experience in consumer sales is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with customers, becoming a reliable advisor during and after the sale.
• Customize each system to fit the client’s space, lifestyle, and concerns by integrating security, automation, and life safety tech.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to ensure commitments are fulfilled and generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing sales leads to maximize outreach.
