Job summary

NRG Energy's Vivint Smart Home team is hiring Direct to Home Pros to install and service cutting-edge smart home technology in customer homes across the United States.

We look for people with a sales mindset, customer-first attitude and technical aptitude; drivers license and ability to pass background checks; need to be within 20 miles of the city. Earn piece-rate pay with unlimited commissions and contribute to safer, smarter homes.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers and act with integrity.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• Must live within 20 miles of the city and pass background checks per law.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home technology in customer homes.
• Earn piece rate pay and enjoy an unlimited commission plan.
• Become an expert on smart home products through training.
• Manage inventory and assets with a business owner mindset.
• Explain system capabilities and provide operational instructions.
• Leverage appointments into leads and revenue.
• Provide customers opportunities to purchase additional products and services.
• Support service and installation visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safety and proper use of tools and equipment.
