NRG Energy is expanding its field service team to deliver cutting-edge smart home installations. We are hiring technicians who combine technical aptitude with a sales mindset to install, service, and explain smart home systems in customers’ homes.

This role pays on a piece-rate basis per install, with potential earnings of $180–$350 per job, and requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in service-based sales or installation roles is a plus.
• Ability to explain technical details clearly to customers.
• Willingness to pass post-offer checks and licensing requirements.

Responsabilités

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home technology in customers' homes.
• Explain system capabilities and provide operational instructions to customers.
• Manage inventory and assets for installations.
• Drive revenue by offering additional products and services during visits.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on all installations.
