Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service cutting-edge smart home technology at customer locations. You will identify upgrade opportunities and help customers achieve total peace of mind through on-site consultations.

The role combines technical installation with consultative sales, with coaching available to advance within our national organization. A valid driver’s license and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail or B2C/service sales is a strong plus.
• Customer-first attitude with integrity and rapport-building skills.
• Technical aptitude; experience in installation or related fields is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative on-site sales to upgrade equipment and services.
• Educate customers on system use and ongoing maintenance.
• Pursue leadership coaching and growth within the national organization.
