Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is hiring Field Service Technician/Professional to install cutting‑edge smart home technology and proactively identify upgraded solutions for customers. You will be the face of Vivint, performing on‑site installations, servicing equipment, and educating customers to gain peace of mind.

Expect competitive base pay with uncapped commissions and a take‑home company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Sales mindset with ability to upsell solutions.
• Customer-first attitude and strong communication skills.
• Technical aptitude in home automation, installations or related fields.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes and recommend upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Educate homeowners on using their new system to protect their families.
• Receive coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.
