Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG-owned company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to install cutting-edge smart home technology and proactively identify and sell upgrade solutions at customer homes. You will be the face of Vivint, delivering security cameras, smart locks, and automation systems while ensuring total peace of mind.

The role blends technical installation with on-site sales, offering a take-home company vehicle, paid training, and a 4/10 work week to support work-life balance and career

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Train homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Benefit from coaching and leadership training to move up within the national organization.
