Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG Energy company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to install, service, and upgrade smart home systems across the United States. You will combine technical work with consultative sales to recommend equipment upgrades and provide customers with peace of mind.

This full-time role offers a take-home vehicle, a 4/10 schedule, comprehensive paid training, and uncapped commission along with competitive benefits to support your growth within our national organization.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C, insurance or service sales is advantageous.
• Customer-first attitude with ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customers.
• Technical aptitude in cable/satellite installation, pest control, construction or solar is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; able to pass background checks and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home equipment.
• Evaluate customer homes to recommend upgrades on-site.
• Educate customers on using their system for protection.
• Pursue growth through coaching and leadership training within our national organization.
