Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home technology in the San Jose area. You will evaluate homes, propose upgrades, and guide customers through setup to ensure peace of mind.

We value attitude and provide training, a take-home vehicle with gas card, 4/10 work weeks, and benefits. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• We hire for attitude and train for skill.
• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Requires valid driver's license and driving record; pass background checks and licensing as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative on-site sales to evaluate homes and sell upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educating homeowners on system usage and security benefits.
