Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is hiring a Field Service Professional in Saint Charles, IL. You will install smart home tech, educate customers, and identify upgrades during on-site visits.

The role blends technical service with consultative sales, offers a four-day workweek, and provides a company vehicle, tools, and ongoing coaching. Training and advancement are emphasized within a national network.

Qualifications

• We hire for attitude and train for skill; experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth through coaching and leadership training to move up within our national organization.
