Job summary

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead enterprise architecture for manufacturing modernization and Industry 4.0 initiatives. You will drive secure, scalable designs that connect MES/SCADA/PLCs with ERP and QMS, enabling predictive maintenance and digital twin capabilities across complex shop floors.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, IT, and product teams, shaping architecture strategy, governance, and tech selections.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution/enterprise architecture or IT leadership.
• 5+ years delivering enterprise manufacturing solutions.
• Experience designing enterprise integrations across ERP, MES, QMS, and asset systems.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture aligned with manufacturing strategy and business goals.
• Lead design of secure, scalable, and resilient architectures for Smart Factory initiatives.
• Evaluate technologies, platforms, and vendors to support modernization.
• Ensure OT/IT compliance and governance across projects.
• Provide technical leadership from discovery through production support.
