Job summary

Hitachi Digital Services, part of Hitachi, is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to drive manufacturing IT/OT integration and Industry 4.0 initiatives. You will align architecture with business goals, and guide cross-functional teams across MES, SCADA, ERP, and cloud platforms.

You bring 10+ years in enterprise architecture for manufacturing, plus strong OT/IT knowledge and cloud experience. Hybrid work options available across multiple U.S. sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or IT leadership.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or smart factory.
TOGAF or ArchiMate certifications preferred; cloud certifications valued.

Responsibilities

Define solution architecture aligned with manufacturing strategy and objectives.
Lead secure, scalable integration of MES, SCADA, PLCs, HMI, DCS with ERP/PLM/QMS.
Spearhead Smart Factory/Industry 4.0 initiatives including IIoT and digital twins.
Evaluate technologies and vendors to support modernization while ensuring security.
Provide technical leadership through design, development, and production support.
