Job summary

Henkel is seeking an Engineer to own the Smart Factory Application at the site, ensuring continuous availability and value creation through digital tools and SAP integration. You will train plant personnel and bridge local IT/OT needs with global strategies.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years with ERP/digital platforms, and expertise in Industrial IoT and OT cybersecurity. Based in the United States with site responsibilities across multiple locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data analysis, or IT.
Minimum five years of manufacturing experience.
Minimum three years with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and digital platforms (Power BI, SQL, MES, historians, CMMS).
Experience with Industrial IoT technologies.
Experience with cybersecurity in OT environments.

Responsibilities

Own the Smart Factory Application at the site, handling support, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
Bridge local IT/OT needs with global digital strategies to reflect local maturity.
Ensure continuous availability and support of digital / I4.0 systems and apps.
Conduct training, onboarding, and upskilling of plant personnel on digital tools.
Assist with OT cybersecurity compliance and corporate controls.
Troubleshoot and support SAP GUI integration with the Smart Factory System for seamless data exchange.
