Job summary

Sanmina Turtle Lake is a full‑service plastics and electronics integration facility seeking an Automation Software Engineer to advance smart factory initiatives. You will design, deploy, and sustain software bridging shop-floor data with enterprise IT, enabling real-time analytics and improved decision making.

You will build MES interfaces, 42Q IoT modules, and automation solutions while collaborating with manufacturing and digital transformation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Automation or equivalent experience.
• Experience in software development for automation or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Linux, containers, and networking.
• Experience with Java and/or C/C++.
• Hands-on with IoT platforms, 42Q, and MES integration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct plant surveys to evaluate automation landscape for MES deployment.
• Develop and maintain IoT application modules and MES integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT and Plant Engineers.
• Validate data flow from machines to MES servers and dashboards.
• Research and apply AI-driven analytics and automation enhancements.
