Job summary

Ondo Finance is seeking a Blockchain Engineer to design secure smart contract systems and the tooling that supports their deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management across multiple chains. The role emphasizes security, integration with product teams, and scalable, maintainable architectures that enable real-world asset tokenization.

You will collaborate across product, legal, compliance, web, and ops to ensure regulatorily aligned, operable contracts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of software engineering experience.
1+ years in blockchain engineering, ideally from another DeFi protocol live on multiple chains.
Strong competency with Solidity; exposure to non-EVM smart contract languages a plus - particularly Solana.

Responsibilities

Smart Contract System Design: architecture for deployments, DeFi interoperability, and bridging with security and long-term maintainability.
Lifecycle Security & Operations: ensure security across deploy and live lifecycle, upgrade safety, and admin controls.
Tooling & Automation: build tooling that allows non-technical teammates to view and manage on-chain state safely.
Cross-Functional Integration: connect contract design to web app and operational teams.
Collaborative Execution: partner with senior engineers and leadership on high-impact projects.
