Job summary

Siemens Mobility's Smart Buildings internship offers hands-on experience in sales for Building Automation, Fire & Life Safety, and Security. As a Smart Buildings Sales Intern, you will work with Sales Managers, assist with lead generation, prepare proposals, and maintain CRM data while rotating through the local branch.

This 10-week hybrid program for undergraduates (rising juniors or seniors) starts May 17, 24, June 7 or June 14, 2027, with 40 hours/week and hourly pay of $24–$28.

Qualifications

• Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Majors: Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing with strong technical aptitude.
• Preferred: participation in a school sales engineering club or cert.
• Availability: 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May-July or June-August).
• Relocation: No relocation assistance or housing stipend provided.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Sales Managers and Sales Executives within the local branch office.
• Assist the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, and account outreach.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Help manage CRM data by tracking leads and maintaining data accuracy.
• Shadow sales calls and meetings to learn effective sales techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer engagement.
• Analyze sales performance data and provide insights into growth.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales processes.
