Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled technicians to perform service and commissioning on fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems. The role requires coordinating field activities, diagnosing equipment, and ensuring work meets customer and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

2–5 years’ experience with installation and service of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom systems.
Demonstrate working knowledge of electricity and electronics; troubleshoot systems.
CCURE 9000, NICET, and DCJS certification required.
Minimum high school/trade school education; related technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform service and new installation commissioning on fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm and intercom systems.
Supervise installation to meet customer expectations and manufacturer specifications; field coordination and training.
Evaluate and diagnose equipment requiring servicing and troubleshoot field wiring problems.
Provide solutions to customers on cost‑effective methods to restore a system; manage service calls and report daily activities.
