Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking technicians to perform service and installation commissioning for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems. You will oversee field installations, coordinate with customers, troubleshoot issues, and document daily activities.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, ability to lift heavy equipment, and strong IT/network knowledge. On-site work with a competitive hourly pay and benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of installation/service experience on fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion, and intercom systems.
• Strong electrical/electronics knowledge; ability to troubleshoot systems and perform repairs.
• Experience with P2000, C-Cure 9000 or similar access control systems preferred.
• Able to work independently and provide high level customer service.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and navigating tight spaces per job needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and new installation commissioning on security and life safety systems.
• Supervise installation activities and coordinate with customers, installers, and AHJs.
• Diagnose equipment issues and provide cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare reports and document daily activities; may require overtime.
