Job summary

Altura, LLC is seeking an Energy and Commissioning Engineer to lead diverse energy projects in the Smart Building space. The ideal candidate will manage client interfaces, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and oversee scheduling and budgets for both new construction and existing buildings.

The role requires 3–10+ years in building energy and commissioning, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and a potential P.E. license.

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years of engineering experience in building energy and commissioning.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• P.E. license desired.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple energy and commissioning projects, including client interface, team coordination, and schedule & budget management.
• Perform field work including site audits, systems testing, and development of energy improvement measures.
• Execute testing protocols to verify energy performance as part of commissioning.
• Leverage data analytics to support energy engineering and commissioning processes.
