Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Building Automation Controls Technician in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Technician will install, program, test, calibrate, operate, and repair control systems along with their related software, hardware, and equipment, including energy management, environmental, boiler, and chiller control systems.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, wiring, troubleshooting controllers, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of experience installing and maintaining building/plant control systems.
• Experience with energy management / environmental and boiler/chiller control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and maintain building automation systems and related hardware.
• Program control systems with appropriate languages for sequences of operations.
• Troubleshoot controllers, field devices, wiring, and network communications.
• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Create and maintain logs and records of system operations.
